Salary:  £7.90/ hour plus pension

Hours: 20 hours/week term time, 35 hours/week school holidays

We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced individuals to provide fun, stimulating sessions for children and young people affected by domestic abuse.

For over 40 years Harbour has supported families experiencing domestic abuse and we welcome applications from passionate, professional individuals. Our staff are empowered and encouraged to develop to ensure the continuous improvement of our services.

We are recruiting for a Playworker to join our team which works across our refuges in Durham and the Tees Valley.

We are looking for individuals with the ability to engage effectively with children and young people, a creative approach to problem solving and an ability to work with initiative. Applicants must hold a relevant qualification in early years/youth work at level 3 or above. Successful applicants must undergo an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
