General Technician - Fabrication and Welding- Chesterfield College
(37 hours per week/52 weeks per year)
A vacancy has arisen for a technician to provide technical support for teaching staff and students in the Directorate of Engineering and Construction and across the College.
The successful applicant will also provide guidance to students on the use of equipment and practical processes associated with the fabrication and welding area.
The successful candidate will have a recognised Level 3 Fabrication and Welding qualification and ideally a minimum of a level 2 qualification in Mathematics and English.
Experience of supporting teaching and learning in a classroom, workshop environment or workplace would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly and under pressure to meet deadlines, and be customer focused with excellent communication and organisational skills.
