School Administrator

Are you calm, organised, and resourceful? Do you enjoy multi-tasking? Do you like solving problems and enabling colleagues to achieve great things? Do you like lists, dogs, and the countryside? If so you might be just the person we are looking for.

We are a small independent school based on a farm in Normandy, Surrey and we’re looking for an administrator to work with our talented colleagues to deliver a great experience for our pupils aged between 11 and 18 every day. Our pupils have struggled in a mainstream education setting and are coming to us for an alternative education. Whilst this does include traditional academic subjects like Maths and English, it also includes lots of practical activities with animals and the land.

We have a wealth of talented academic and practical colleagues who are based on our farm and at our sister school in Windsor. We need an administrator to manage visitors, diaries, health and safety, lunches (if need be) and lots of little tasks which will enable our team to deliver their best and our pupils to achieve the best they can.

You will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate kindness, empathy, calmness, resourcefulness, an ability to problem solve and to be practical.  Experience in a school is an advantage, and you should have experience with MS and/or Apple Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Presentation software as well as SIMS.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check.

Hours: Full time (40 hours per week 8:30-4:30), term time only
