Are you looking to enable lots of fun with a great group of young people? Are you energetic, practical and consistent? Are you looking for a way into education outside the traditional route?

We are a small independent school based at our farm in Normandy, Surrey. We’re looking for 2 Learning Support Assistants to work with our young people aged between 11 and 18. Our pupils have struggled in a mainstream setting usually because of their Special Educational Needs and are coming to us for an alternative education. Whilst this does include traditional academic subjects like Maths and English, it also includes lots of practical activities with animals and the land.  

We have a wealth of talented academic and practical colleagues who are based on our farm and at our sister school in Windsor. Successful applicants will be passionate about helping young people, self-motivated, practical and calm. Experience with young people either in school or chlldren’s activities e.g. Guides/Scouts, sports coaching etc. would be an advantage, however full training will be provided for the successful candidates.

These positions are subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check.

Location: Normandy, Surrey

Hours: Full time (40 hours per week 8:30-4:30), term time only

Pay: Commensurate with experience
