Junior HR Advisor
Based in Bristol (with regular travel to Swindon)

As one of the UK's leading independent professional services companies we are currently recruiting for an intelligent and well organised Junior HR Advisor. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager and working alongside a team of HR Advisors, you would play an important role in delivering a professional HR service across the South West region, with a particular focus on our Bristol and Swindon offices. Regular travel across the region will be required.
Your role would focus on offering proactive HR support and advice to your client groups, acting as the first point of contact for line managers who are seeking guidance and support on a range of basic HR issues (staff performance, policies, contracts, benefits, training). Other key responsibilities will include…
o Managing the student recruitment process
o Providing management information/analysis
o Coordinating Assessment Centres
o Delivery of learning and development initiatives and employee relations issues as they arise
o Reviewing offer letters, managing the starters/leavers process, monitoring probationary reviews, managing the sickness absence recording and monitoring process
The ideal candidate will be a degree-educated individual with experience providing a high standard of support in a busy and fast-paced HR environment. Experience within a professional or financial services environment would be preferred, while CIPD qualification / part-qualification would also be desirable. You must be well organised with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise and build relationships at many levels.
With almost 3500 partners and staff across 35 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly exciting time.
