The European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) is the world's leading test facility for wave and tidal energy converters, having supported more real-sea deployments than at any other site in the world.
Marketing Officer
GBP21,843 - GBP26,697 plus contributory pension
EMEC's marketing services have expanded to include delivery of dissemination and communications work packages in EU funded projects. We are looking for a Marketing Officer to support delivery of these projects and EMEC's wider marketing strategy. You will be required to work across numerous marketing disciplines (including PR, market research, and event management) to promote EMEC, our clients and projects, as well as the progress taking place in the marine energy sector.
A degree in marketing or a closely related subject is essential for this role, as are excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
Based in Orkney, this full-time post is for a fixed term of 2 years initially.
