OVERALL PURPOSE
To manufacture advanced composite components and structures using a variety of processes including, but not limited to, pre-preg lay up, vacuum bagging, oven and autoclave curing, machining, assembly and finishing.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Preparation of mould and assembly tooling.
Lay up of components to drawing using advanced composite materials.
Application of vacuum bag systems.
Machining and finishing of components and assemblies.
Assembly of items using adhesives and mechanical fasteners.
Working to instructions and general workshop guidelines.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
To perform any other duties as appropriate and applicable within own skill set.
Supporting other team members as required.
To help maintain a safe working environment and observe published Health and Safety procedures
