You will work 35 hours within the week, covering shifts across Monday - Friday 8:30 - 6pm and Saturday 9am - 1pm, with a salary of GBP19,665 plus excellent additional benefits and opportunities for progression.

As a Barclays Customer Service Advisor, you will have the chance to deliver effective, efficient and compliant telephone based mortgage customer service. You will be working collaboratively with intermediary business and contact centre colleagues in order to maximise customer satisfaction and overall Intermediary Business.

About us:

We have a number of contact and processing centres, and there's a full spectrum of customer service, admin support and agent roles. These teams support our mortgage agents as well as our retail network. They also manage the admin associated with customer and product related processing - ensuring the standards of our service are consistently high.

As a Customer Service Advisor, your main responsibilities will involve:
Providing excellent customer service to support the mortgage business
Creating advocates for Barclays Mortgage service from customers and third parties.
Acting as a role model for colleagues and maintaining professional standards at all times.
Maximising telephony performance to ensure the operation is as efficient as possible.
Enhancing Barclays reputation via excellent telephone interactions.

As a Customer Service Advisor, your skills and qualifications will include:
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to conduct challenging conversations with various stakeholders.

The ability to interact at an advanced level across multiple disciplines and interfaces.
Advanced numeric skills.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services market including the products, services and customers of the business area being supported.
