EXAMINATIONS OFFICER 
FROM SEPTEMBER 2017

Hall School Wimbledon is a small, friendly, independent co-educational school situated in an attractive area of South-West London.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can play a pivotal role in the success of our students’ progress. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and solutions-focused.The successful candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, good IT and interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is a busy and varied role, working as part of a small team and interacting with all members of our very supportive school community.

Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the efficient and effective management, coordination, administration and conduct of internal and public examinations for our pupils, aged 11 – 16 years.

This will include liaising with exam boards and departments, ensuring compliance in all areas of exam regulations by staff and pupils, collecting and processing information required by exam boards including applications for special consideration and enquiries about results. The successful applicant should be conversant with Microsoft EXCEL and Word.

The post is for 5 days per week (4 days will be considered as an option), for 36 weeks term time only, but additional flexible working hours during the exam periods are essential. The post-holder will also be expected to work during the week of the GCSE results in August. Hall School Wimbledon offers a competitive pay scale for suitably qualified and experienced staff and appropriate training where necessary.
