My client is a well established Financial Services Company based on the outskirts of Sheffield city centre. They are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their team. Candidates must have experience of working within the financial services sector.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Adviser Support
• Processing all new business compliantly and according to the procedures laid down
• Preparing Suitability Reports
• Ensuring client files contain necessary information
• Obtaining valuations on clients portfolio
• Requesting postal/faxed quotations
• Letters of authority - dealing with providers to collate client information
• Typing appointment and letters
• Dealing with queries from clients, and referring them to OAM or consultants if appropriate
• Ensure all data input onto the back office system is accurate and complete
• Offering help and assistance to other members of the Consultant Support team
• Chasing providers for policy documents and commission payments
• Ensuring stationery is available
• Meeting and greeting all visitors to the office. Ensuring any cheques from clients for fees are banked at least weekly and always by month end of receipt
• Ensuring that all incoming post arriving on a business day is opened and distributed on the same business day
• Ensuring that outgoing post created in a working day is sent via the relevant postal system the same working day.
• Ensure that office is fully functional and open for business Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm

• Good all round education
• Good telephone manner
• IT literate
• Knowledge of Financial Services Industry
