Purpose of your role
- Lead Fidelity International's focus on selection, assessment and process effectiveness
- Develop and execute a strategy that gives candidates, hiring managers and recruiters a first-class experience during the assessment process that represents Fidelity Values and Behaviours and the brand as a whole
- Drive skills builds and capability improvements through appropriate learning and development interventions for hiring managers across the organisation
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Selection Strategy
- Management and delivery of the strategy to define ideal Fidelity candidate profiling and the tools to assess talent / competencies
- Developing and managing an assessment & selection strategy that ensures a consistent and objective recruitment process across the business
- Identify new technologies to incorporate into the recruiting cycle to ensure the candidate, hiring manager and recruiter experience reflects Fidelity Values and Behaviours
- Act as a consultative thought leader and partner to HR and business stakeholders across multiple geographies, leading requirements development, brainstorming solutions and creating action plans
- Develop ways to track and measure the level of success, including improvements in quality of hire
- Management of working groups and communities of practice focused on transformational assessment
Assessment & Selection Methodology
- Working closely with the Talent and Learning &Development team to embed frameworks across Fidelity assessment & selection processes
- Ongoing validation of Fidelity assessment & selection framework incorporating analysis of assessment performance vs performance in-role
- Ensuring development needs identified during the recruitment process are captured and fed into ongoing development plans
- Embedding methodologies across the global organisation and enabling use of best practice in hiring processes
- Continuous improvement of a levelled competency assessment framework across all business units with supportive assessment solutions that are consistent and fit for purpose
- Introduction of appropriate new assessment approaches (e.g. strengths based)
- Content creation of assessment various assessment tools - interviews, role plays, in-tray exercises, work simulations etc. that would effectively predict in-role performance.
- Evaluate and validate designed materials
- Audited usage and scoring of assessments and training out bespoke assessment content.
Fidelity Capability
- Develop Recruiter and Hiring Manager Interview tools and competency training
- Deliver upskilling initiatives for both the Talent Acquisition team and the wider hiring manager community to enable appropriate recruitment decisions being made
- Partner with business leaders across the organization to ensure Fidelity is delivering a collaborative, engaging, impactful and diverse recruiting experience through expert skills
Candidate Assessment
- Participate in the assessment processes for key Fidelity hires, enhancing the process through deep candidate insights in interview scenarios
- Psychometric profiling and associated candidate insights for key Fidelity hires
- Leading interview panels through data based insights enabling interviewers to focus on key areas and enhance the interview quality
3rd Party Management
- Worked closely with 3rd party suppliers to drive performance and ensure all materials meet business needs and HR requirements.
