Security Engineer - Coventry - Shape security architecture

You have the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing and modern utilities company. They already have an established market. They have realised that in their market, there are some opportunities to move forward and are focusing their business around security, affordability and sustainability. In this role, you have a unique opportunity to play a key part in a relatively new and rapidly expanding security function.
In this role, you will be heavily involved in project work. You will have the opportunity to bring your own ideas on how you want to shape a large organisation's security landscape moving forward. This will mean that you will be designing and implementing many aspects of security ranging from security tools, looking after application security and getting heavily involved with the network security.
The nature of this role will mean that you will have hands on security experience working as a security engineer, consultant, architect or network security engineering. This will mean that you will have some (or all) of the following skills -
*Good working knowledge of network security
*Rich understanding of application security
*A love of getting to know security tools
*Knowledge of security in the cloud
*A working understanding of architecture
*The confidence to drive the change that you want to see
You will be rewarded with a salary of up to GBP48,500, you will be getting some great benefits too -
*25 days annual leave, plus you can buy even more days off
