We provide industry leading training and support; and have excellent pay rates, starting from a basic weekday wage for personal care of £8.80 per hour weekdays, plus weekend supplements, holiday pay and mileage

There is the opportunity for exceptional Care Assistants / Support Workers to be considered for a Guaranteed Hours Contract if you can commit to a two-weekly working pattern.

What will I be responsible for?

As a Care Assistant / Support Worker, you will provide care in our clients’ homes.

You will provide our clients with the care they require to allow them the opportunity to stay independent in their own homes as an alternative to residential care. The Care Assistants / Support Workers provide a minimum personal care visit of 60 minutes; we don’t rush our clients or our team. Responsibilities will include:

• Companionship
• Taking the client shopping
• Personal care (for example washing and dressing)
• Medication support (prompting and administering)
• Domestic support (helping customers keep themselves and homes tidy.

GUARANTEED HOURS CONTRACT

If you have care experience and wish to be considered for a guaranteed hours contract you must be able to commit to a 2 week rota pattern as follows:

– Week 1 on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday

– Week 2 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

On the days you work you will be required to be available to work from 7.00am to 2.00pm and 4.00pm to 10.00pm

If you are able to commit to the working pattern you will be paid for a minimum number of hours per day regardless of the number of clients you have

WHAT WE REQUIRE

All applicants will be required to complete an on-line personality test as part of the application process. You will only be proceeded to interview stage once you have completed the test.

To be able to work for Right at Home you MUST

– Have a driving license and access to a vehicle

– Be over 18 years of age

– Be eligible to work in the UK
