ABOUT THE ROLE

To help the College achieve its ICT and ILT Strategies, you will be a driving force to provide and actively encourage the development of new technologies throughout a multi-site College.

You will be responsible for the development, maintenance and upgrading of our servers, network and telephony systems. This will include both hardware and software installation and configuration.

The ideal candidate will have a logical, systematic approach to fault finding and troubleshooting. You will have attention to detail in document and record keeping and operate incident and change management procedures.

You will be a team player, keen to develop new knowledge and share information with colleagues in IT.

The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of PC and other ICT hardware, networking, telephony solutions, Windows 2008/2012 Server and Windows 10 with appropriate project skills.

Other qualities that would be required include a customer focused approach; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; have good organisational skills; good communication and interpersonal skills; be able to prioritise workloads; be methodical, flexible and enthusiastic.
