Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate Role Information:

This excellent school is located close to transport links in Birmingham. The school has a proven track record of enabling young students with additional needs to achieve their true potential. The SENCO at this mainstream school values ambitious and driven psychology graduates who have a real passion for enabling children with Special Educational Needs to succeed.

You will be working as part of a friendly and effective team and will be supported by the SENCO in your professional development. As part of your role you will work collaboratively with the class teacher to provide support for the pupil you work with on a One to One basis. It is essential that you are a good communicator and empathetic. It is also important that you are an excellent motivator and can inspire the pupils you work with to be committed to their own learning.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to earn up to GBP300 per week whilst gaining invaluable experience which will enable you to go on to further studies such as teacher training. Don't worry if you have never worked in a school before as some foundation training will be given and you will be supported throughout your year by the Special Educational Needs Department at this wonderful school in Birmingham.
