Descriptions:

We are recruiting for our Clients in the highly skilled & experienced

SEMI-SKILLED FABRICATORS

Working on the preparation of steel work, using Grinders & Polishers to clean plate, box, channel, angle, so it is ready for fabrication & welding.
Also using Saws, Drills etc to cut and drill materials.

Pay on Earlies or Days = GBP 9 + hr, GBP11.50 per hr above 40 hrs & Sat

SEMI-SKILLED WORK SHOP MACHINE OPS

Mainly marking up sections of steel plate, box, channel, angle.
Using Drills, Borers, Mills, Lathes to prepare for drilled holes & slots etc.
Also working on the preparation of steel work, using Grinders & Polishers to clean plate, box, channel, angle, so it is ready for fabrication & welding.
Also using Saws, Drills etc to cut and drill materials.

Pay on Earlies or Days = GBP 9 + hr, GBP11.50 per hr above 40 hrs & Sat

PLATER FABRICATORS

Measuring & marking out Structural Steel & Plate
Working from engineering drawings.

Using gas cutting, plasma equipment, plus saws etc to cut plate & channel, steel work.

Drilling of bolt holes, notches, cleats etc.

Fabrication from drawings of heavy steel & plate for specialised steel
structures.

Setting up for welding. Tacking steel and plate in position.

Ensuring Coded Welders can weld the work, plus allow for heat and movement in the steel work

FABRICATOR WELDERS & PLATER WELDERS

Measuring & marking out Structural Steel & Plate
Working from engineering drawings.

Using gas cutting, plasma equipment, plus saws etc to cut plate & channel, steel work.

Drilling of bolt holes, notches, cleats etc.

Fabrication from drawings of heavy steel & plate for specialised steel
structures

Welding heavy plate & steel work to coded specs mainly MIG Solid Wire & FCAW.
Ideally able to weld using MMA

Coded MIG Welders - Structural Steel & Plate

Welding heavy plate & steel work to coded specs mainly using MIG Solid & MMA

Coded MMA Welders - Structural Steel & Plate

Welding heavy plate & steel work to coded specs mainly MMA.
Ideally able to weld using MIG

Plater Fabs & Plater Welders - Structural Steel & Plate

Fabrication from drawings of heavy steel & plate for specialised steel
structures
Welding heavy plate & steel work to coded specs mainly MMA.
Ideally able to weld using MIG

We are recruiting for our Clients in the highly skilled & experienced

Semi Skilled & Mates - Steel Work Fabricators & Polishers Will be assisting Fabricators & Welders with marking out, cutting to length tubing, sheet, angle , balustrade, hand rails, stair ways, walk ways etc Using Grinders & Polishers to complete work to mirror finish !

Quals = C & G - NVQ 3 in Sheet Metal Work or Plating or Welding Hours of Work = (Apply online only) Mon - Fri plus (Apply online only) Sat plus Sun if required
Lates = (Apply online only) Mon - Fri plus overtime
Nights = (Apply online only) Mon - Fri plus overtime
. Working in the Fab Shops & Sites, ideally living in a 20 mile radius There will also be the strong likelihood of working extra O/T where required.

Term of Work = 13 weeks pos long term subject to work load

Pay Rates Depending on Skills & Quals and Area from

GBP14 + per hr basic, plus overtime rates for Platers & Fabricators depending on skills an shift

GBP14 + per hr basic, plus overtime rates for Coded Welders depending on skills an shift
