Monarch Education are currently looking for Behaviour Support Teaching Assistants to work with children on a 1:1 and small class basis in a Bristol SEND School for KS3 and KS4 children.

Your role as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant will involve you supporting children with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, all of whom have Educational Health Care Plans and require 1:1 or small group support to promote their inclusion within the classroom.
Throughout the day you will be supporting these pupils in their lessons, during breaks and will be expected to take part in lunch-duty cover on a rotational basis.

The right candidate for this role will have had experience of dealing with high level disruption, challenging behaviour and other behavioural issues in a classroom or specialist setting.

You will need to be motivated to ensure the pupils remains focused so they make progress. You need to be confident building effective relationships with pupils with behavioural needs, helping to keep them engaged in their learning. If you have undertaken Team Teach training, this would be an advantage but is not essential.

The school is looking for somebody who will have a confident approach and will be committed to the progress and inclusion of their pupil's.
The right candidate will be motivational and respond to the needs of the pupil's while ensuring they learn, are engaged and motivated.
The successful applicant will have patience and experience using positive behaviour management to motivate and focus pupils.

The pay for this role ranges from GBP54.60 - GBP70.00 per day depending upon skills and experience.
