Are you a dedicated, passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant? Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? If so then we could have the right role for you!

Monarch Education are currently looking for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to work in an outstanding SEND school in Yeovil from September 2017.

In particular we are looking for Teaching and Learning Support Assistants with experience of working with Autism, ADHD, Attachment Disorders, Dyslexia and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

This school currently caters for around 100 students aged 4 - 19yrs with additional learning needs, all of whom have a statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). The pupils that attend the school have a diverse range of individual needs that includes Learning Difficulties, an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Sensory and Communication needs.

This school has an excellent reputation and is a great place to work; the staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive, which in turn creates a positive team working atmosphere.

The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant and or Learning Support Assistant for this Special Needs school will have:

* SEND experience in an educational or care setting
* The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide a positive approach to learning
* The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils alike
* Fantastic behaviour management skills
* TeamTeach training is preferable but not essential
