Our client is the world's largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership and their workforce are key to their continued success.
This is an extremely varied role sitting right at the centre of the Institute, where you will be responsible for providing an efficient administrative support service to the Chief Executive, Managing Director, President and Officers and carrying out a broad range of tasks for the Governance team.
Administering diary and travel management, expenses, correspondence and any other similar activities as required, you will get involved in organising guest lists, events and lunches, along with regional tours and overseas visits. You will also be a point of contact for their Past Presidents, and will arrange a lunch for them every year.
As their Governance Administrator, you will also manage the meeting process for a wide range of their Board and Committee meetings, including arranging papers, administering all necessary meeting arrangements and taking and issuing timely meeting minutes when required. You will be a key member of the project team for their annual conference, working hard to ensure that this goes without a glitch.
This is by no means everything you will find yourself getting involved in, but hopefully gives you an idea of the exciting opportunity that awaits.
This role requires a meticulous and highly organised individual who has demonstrable experience in a busy administration role. Able to communicate well at all levels and build strong and credible working relationships, you will have a good sense of humour and the ability to influence others to ensure adherence to prescribed practices.
It goes without saying that you will need to be able to handle confidential information, have excellent attention to detail and a high level of diligence, however they also need you to be able to deal independently with a number of competing priorities simultaneously, prioritise accordingly and make sound and well-rounded decisions.
You will be confident in dealing with diary management, meeting management, meeting paper preparation and minute taking, and have strong IT skills in a variety of Microsoft packages.
No two days will be the same in this exciting position, so if you thrive in an ever changing environment and love to get your teeth into a real challenge then this could be the role for you!
In return, they can offer you a fantastic range of benefits which include an excellent private medical insurance scheme and contributions to a group personal pension plan. They are also extremely proud to hold a Silver Investors in People award which demonstrates our commitment to your ongoing development.
