ROYAL SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND LIVERPOOL
The Royal School for the Blind Charity, Liverpool runs both a School and Post 19 provision. The Post 19 provision Rushton Adult Futures, offers education and social care placements for young adults with visual impairments and moderate to severe learning disabilities. It is the aim of Rushton Adult Futures to support service users prepare for adulthood, meeting the necessary outcomes identified for quality care.

We would like to recruit a candidate with a passion for improving the outcomes for disabled young adults and the creativity to develop a programme of activities which will enrich their lives and prepare their future. You will be qualified to degree level, or equivalent and have experience in a similar role. You will have experience of working within and leading a project development team, developing practice and delegation. You will be experienced in working with young adults who are described as having profound and multiple learning disabilities and/or visual impairment and a strong knowledge of the field of disability. You will be patient and compassionate in nature, outgoing and enthusiastic, non-judgmental and be able to demonstrate creativity both independently and as part of a growing team.
Closing date: Friday 30th June, applications must be received by 12pm.
