Sales Executive - Sports Industry

Sales Executive needed for our client, a market leader within the sports industry based in Oxford. They are a well-known and respected sports performance specialist offering world-class products and customer service. They are looking for a talented and energetic person who wants to be part of a growing company working in their sales department as a Sales Executive.

Offering a generous basic, the commission is uncapped and the earning potential is limitless - you will get exactly what you put in!

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts in a highly-productive, inside sales environment. A strong candidate will have an attitude that is driven by success and wanting to earn the most commission possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Place outbound phone calls (cold calling) to initiate and complete the sales process
  • Account management - Develop and maintain strong relationships and consistent communication with clients
  • Work to achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals through execution of demand generation activities
  • Manage activity in CRM tool and maintain sales metrics
  • Continuous prospecting through multiple data sources

  • Is metrics-oriented, organized and has a need to win
  • Understands pipe line development and management
  • Can take prospective clients all the way through the sales process, from initial prospect to closed sale

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales is preferred, but not necessary as full training is available
  • Exceptional written, verbal, phone and presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to work under pressure, organise and prioritise responsibilities

Salary: £20,000 basic, OTE £25,000-£30,000. Uncapped Commission.
