Hybu Cig Cymru-Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) is the strategic body responsible for the development, promotion and marketing of Welsh red meat.

Industry Development & Relations Manager (Ref: 8.62)

HCC’s mission is to advance and enhance the profitability, efficiency and sustainability of the Welsh red meat industry.

This role reports directly to the CEO and has overall operational responsibility for the delivery of HCC’s industry relations, research and development, knowledge exchange and market intelligence. Critical to the role will be an in depth understanding of the core agenda for the primary producer and processor sectors in Wales. Promoting and implementing partnerships and collaborative working across the supply chain, will also be key components of success.

Applicants should be accomplished senior managers, with comprehensive team leadership experience within the food or agriculture sector. Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a relevant or technical discipline, candidates will have extensive expertise in the management and monitoring of departmental and project budgets. Accomplished communications skills across all interfaces are essential and Welsh language proficiency would be highly advantageous.
