Support Worker - Home Care

This domiciliary agency is looking to recruit a Home Care Support Worker.

Role.

Working as a Home Care Support Worker you will help people live independent fulfilling lives, helping them remain in their own home providing person centred care. As a Support Worker you will provide them with support thus enabling them to live as independently as possible. Your role will as a Home Care Support Worker will also include:-

- Providing Personal Care
- Moving & Handling including hoists etc
- Medication prompting and administering
- Continence Management
- Cooking Meals and Shopping if required.

The suitable candidate will have:

- Good communication skills
- Pose a warm and caring nature
- Flexible
- Have Clear Spoken and Written English
- Time management
- Flexibility
- Good Housekeeping and Cooking Skills
- Value Clients Needs

Experience desired (however full training given):

- Experience in community care desired but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate
- NVQ/QCF 2 or above
