Celtic Horizons delivers estate services for United Welsh; including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, repairs and maintenance. Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh who have entered into a partnership with Mears Group. Celtic Horizons care for over 5000 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Labourer to join us in Caerphilly.

Within this role, you will liaise with the Celtic Horizons Team enabling a response to all jobs within the given time periods as laid down in the contract during both day to day, planned, refurbishment, voids properties and the out of hours service.  You will ensure that all work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently.

In order to be successful in this position, it is essential that you have substantial previous experience in the construction industry working on kitchens, bathrooms, disabled adaptations, windows, doors, walls, chimneys, paths, paving, fencing, rubbish collection, cleaning PVCu components and other project works.

Although not essential, skills in plumbing, carpentry, bricklaying, plastering or painting would be beneficial.  Experience of working for social housing providers would also be an advantageous.

Candidates for this role must hold a full UK driving licence

A van and mobile device will be provided for business use as standard.
