Planning and Inventory Controller
Salary - GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum
Location commutable from: Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Thrapston, Huntngdon
Your Profile:
As the Planning and Inventory Controller you will have a proven track record of working alongside the supply chain department to interpret the sales forecast and budget into practical manufacturing plans for the site. With experience of the FMCG, food or packaging industry. The successful Planning and Inventory Controller will have a proven track record working with ERP systems and using Excel up to pivot table level (Advanced Excel User).
The Role:
The Planning and Inventory Controller will be responsible for managing the long term supply and inventory planning to obtain sustainable supply of products at optimal cost. You'll ensure that the planning parameters in the ERP system are updated and maintained to reflect the supply; update the order information in the ERP system and correct where required. You'll also have to review and update information in pivot tables in Excel. You'll collaborate with the sourcing department to source, manage and agree on supplier SLA's based on company KPI's and local market conditions.
The Planning and Inventory Controller will report on supply risks and shortages to the process, liaising and monitoring suppler delivery quality and take action on deviations. You'll track and ensure agreed terms between suppliers and the company and be involved in or lead selected projects where required. You may also have the opportunity to get involved in continuous improvement initiatives.
