Job Description for Trainee Engineer:
The objective of the department is the maintenance and installation of electronics and instrumentation as well as maintenance and development of energy supplies (utilities).
In the event of line stoppages to promptly respond to production requirements. To perform preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring all machinery operates to full capacity. To maintain plant services (steam, water, electricity, refrigeration) minimising downtime. Any breakdowns should be repaired as a matter of urgency.
Job Responsibilities for Trainee Engineer:
• Carry out all repairs on mechanical equipment in a timely manner.
• Periodic inspections of production machines / installations.
• Proposals for improvements of machines / line performance and installations are encouraged.
• To carry out PPM inspection rounds, assessing equipment on the basis of a check list and own insight, noting findings and discussing measures to be taken with the Shift Manager, on site engineers and M&R Manager.
• Register all activities in the automated maintenance system (SAP)
• Follow all safety procedures including LOTO (Log off/Tag Out)
