Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Administrator to join our Recruitment Team within Employee Services, in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Employee Services is the HR and Payroll shared services section of the HR Enabling Function providing critical, continual administrative support to employees throughout their entire lifecycle; from posting job adverts like this one to attract potential candidates through to the day they leave the company and every aspect in between. Employee
Services is made up of core administration teams and specialist teams who look after our 16,000 UK based employees across a range of roles in construction, utilities and Rail.

Recruitment admin is one of the core teams that provides support to the Balfour Beatty Resourcing function with the candidate attraction and engagement pieces; including CV sifting, job advertising, interview bookings and feedback, amongst many other activities.

The team is the company's first point of contact for candidates and are a reference point for staff with vacancies to advertise. By working closely with the Resourcing function and hiring managers the team are able to provide updates on live vacancies and share expertise and best practice to ensure a positive candidate journey from initial contact to interview stage.

Who we're looking for
Our successful candidate will be self-motivated but also able to work under instruction; they will be proactive and able to use their initiative but, at the same time, be responsive to changing needs of our customers and adapt very quickly.

The new team member who joins us will be used to high volume workloads and will be able to work towards our KPIs of timeliness and quality. A good attention to detail is absolutely critical in this role and our successful candidate will take full responsibility for the quality of their own work as well as supporting colleagues in maintaining our high standards.

Strong verbal and written communicative skills are hugely valued in Employee Services; our customers are at the centre of everything we do and we need to ensure that we are able to communicate effectively with them.
