This is a great opportunity for a Test Engineer to join a world leading advanced technology engineering company. The business, based in north Hertfordshire, specialise in the design and manufacture of test systems used within a wide variety of sectors, across the globe.
The successful Test Engineer will be responsible for the development and execution of test plans, on both prototypes and systems. You will need to have significant experience testing systems down to component level, with the ability to setup and configure electrical, electronic and software based testing systems.
Ideally, the Test Engineer will have some experience in developed automated testing strategies, for longer-term regression testing. You will need an engineering qualification (HNC or higher), excellent analytical skills and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Test Engineer Requirements:
* An engineering qualification (HNC min.) in a relevant discipline
* Significant experience in component level test on prototype systems
* Ability to create and follow testing plans
* Experience in setting up long term automated testing strategies for regression testing
* Knowledge of power electronics
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
