R&D / Development Engineer - Automotive

If you are bored of sitting at a desk all day simply designing "off the shelf products" and want to take the next step from a design engineer into a Development role then this is the role for you.
This is an innovative role covering all aspects of design, development and product test. You could be a Development/R&D Engineer, or want to get into this type or role, but having an understanding of the development process will be a benefit. You will be managing the direction of the concept, running projects and liaising with design and applications engineers, managing the test and test area and doing all relevant documentation and reports.
To be successful in this challenging role requires a highly technical and driven person, capable of overcoming hurdles, producing good quality reports and documentation, communicating project progress to the development managers, and building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
