What's your story?

You bring to our client a minimum of five years experience within an HR advisory role and an equivalent background in payroll. No-one knows HR processes and practices better than you as you've provided the lead or been the main support on devising and implementing long term HR projects for previous employers.

You're a rock who supports, coaches, and trains line managers on HR topics. Youre a can-do, proactive person with brilliant organisational and time-keeping skills, able to work with minimal direction and tough enough to make decisions and follow them through.

You're great with computers and have a real eye for detail. You know pressures part of the job but you wear it well, building constructive relationships with key team members and managers along the way as you hit key performance indicators, sometimes against tight timescales.

What you'll be doing

Youre here to work between the Senior HR Manager and HR Assistant, supporting the business and its employees with people activities. That means taking a lead on dealing with day to day ER issues, supporting or leading on HR projects, being a coach and mentor to the HR Assistant, and running the company payroll.

You're the lead in advising employees and managers on ER HR processes policies and youll support the HR team creating their new standardised HR processes and administration templates. You'll bring insights and feedback to the Senior HRM and assist in CPD across the department. You'll be a key support figure in the companys recruitment drives and help with the role out of new policies, procedures, training, handbooks, absence/performance management frameworks and more.

Youll be responsible for the monthly payroll cycle, including working with the HR Assistant to ensure all starters and leavers are processed correctly though the payroll and HR system. You'll be the primary point of contact for employees and managers on payroll-related queries.
