Job Details:
We are recruiting for a Cost Manager / QS - Bank Monitoring professional to join a national construction consultancy based in Leeds.
To join a well-established National Consultancy that offer services in Cost Management, Project Management and Building Surveying to a varied Client base in the Commercial sector.
The Leeds office is based in the city centre and due to continued growth have an exciting opportunity for a Cost Manager / QS to join the team in a permanent position.
You would be joining a small team of professionals who work hard but also understand the importance of work life balance.
About the role:
Cost Management: all cost and commercial matters relating to building projects, form setting the initial budget to the formalising of the final account.
Development Monitoring: Undertake development feasibility reports for Bank and other funders. Monthly progress reports and release of monthly drawdowns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
?? Cost planning forecasting, master planning budget estimating/setting; preparation of pre-tender estimates.
?? Cost management and control, including:
?? Benchmarking and Market Testing;
?? Estimating / preparing cost plans
?? Preparation of tender documents and/or negotiating tenders;
?? Analysing and reporting upon tenders received;
?? Preparation of interim valuations and final accounts;
?? Procurement advice;
?? Variation assessment/Change Management;
?? Employers Agent services;
?? Contract Administration services;
?? Risk and Value Management;
?? Due Diligence reviews;
Ideally you will have gained a degree in Quantity Surveying and the company will support APC towards chartered status and can offer career development beyond RICS if you have already completed your APC.
