Our Client is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager / Account Manager within a growing Technology business based in Portsmouth and around the south coast.
You will have a focus on developing new and existing business opportunities within medium to large clients across the Territory
Key Responsibilities
• To follow up on sales leads
• Identify and develop sources of potential clients
• Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face and written communications
• Achieve sales activities within specified time scales as directed
• Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products and be able to highlight their disadvantages and promote relevant benefits
• Liaise with other members of the Sales Team to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange information and increase professionalism
There will be elements of both New Business and Account Management and you will the manage the accounts you win.
Experience, Personal Qualities and Skills
Essential:
• A passion for Sales and Account Management
• Ability to demonstrate previous success
• Knowledge of IT / Technology / Software / Telecoms is preferred
• Ability to work under own initiative
• High standards of Customer Service
• The drive to win and succeed
• Strong influencing skills
• High energy and positive state of mind
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An ability to present, facilitate and negotiate in a sales Environment
