The Premier Pathways Teacher Training Programme is an exciting new route into teaching for exceptional graduates who are fully committed to a long-standing and progressive career within Primary Education.

Through Premier Pathways, you will train up within one-school environment for two years, initially taking on a learning support role before progressing to a Trainee Teacher. Graduate Trainee Primary School Teacher

You will be a creative and dedicated Graduate who has an unstoppable desire to become a future Primary School Teacher. You must be able to not only commit yourself to self-study, but also commit yourself to the course and your pupils who will rely on you to help them through their education. You will ideally hold a 2:1 degree and have previous experience working alongside children. You will need GCSEs of C or higher in English, Maths and Science in order to be suitable for the Programme.

About the Graduate Trainee Primary School Teacher role

You will receive constant support throughout your teacher training from a school-mentor, a PGCE Mentor and a Premier Pathways Liaison Officer. This support will allow you to seek guidance and support whenever you need it. You will receive peer support from your fellow Premier Pathways Trainees who you will meet during your University sessions and networking days.
