Management Accountant (Part-Qualified)

Sue Ross Recruitment are currently working with a successful and growing company who specialise in safety provisions. Due to continued business growth, they seek a proactive and professional Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their central Sheffield team.

This role is suited to a part-qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) with proven experience of working within a Finance Department.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the accounting records for the company and its existing subsidiary. You will have siginificant input into the development of the buusiness and reporting processes.

Supporting the central finance team, duties and responsibilities include;

- Ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions
- Providing support and guidance where necessary
- Undertaking month end close procedures, including month end accruals, prepayments, and accounting adjustments
- Producing monthly management reports for presentation to the Executive team
- Preparing and reviewing balance reconciliations
- Managing and supervising the finance administration function
- Liaising with the Operations function to ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded
- End-to-end transactional process reviews, optimising accuracy and efficiency to ensure compliance with regulations
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Liaising with external agencies, including auditors and insurers
