Maintenance Performance Analysis and Reporting Manager

Based Warrington
GBP38,834 + 10% Bonus + Pension + Healthcare

Job Purpose
This role will provide data analytics, reports and recommendations in respect of maintenance activities and asset performance and reliability.
Reporting directly to the Asset Configuration & Reporting Manager, the Maintenance Performance Analysis and Reporting Manager will be responsible for setting Performance targets against recognised standards, measuring and analysing data and providing reports with recommendations for improvement.
The Analysis and Reporting Manager shall also provide similar support across all areas of Operational Engineering.
Accountabilities
* This function hosts and runs monthly performance management meetings with the other sections within the Maintenance Engineering and Operational Engineering teams.
* This function goes beyond the simple collection, collation and presenting of information and performs routine and cyclic analysis of the suite of scorecards and KPIs and provides monthly, written guidance on why trends have deviated and who should do what to correct.
* This function is able to look at the overall performance of Operational Engineering and Wholesale to detect why trends have deviated down to the individual KPI in each scorecard and then to validate such a deviation by looking across all KPI's and scorecards.
Knowledge and Skills
* Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject (IT, Statistics, Business studies etc).
* Ability to map business processes and set appropriate KPIs.
* Background in analytics, Interrogation of data and preparation of recommendations for continuous improvement.

Desirable
* An understanding of wider business issues across all levels of the Company's operation is desirable, particularly an awareness of the nature and effect of competition within the Utility sector and the challenges faced to reduce Totex and manage Risk.
Essential
* Understanding of the challenges facing the business and the link to KPIs set for the Operational Engineering and Wholesale teams.
* Familiarity with RCM principles of maintenance and associated standards - SAE JA1011, ISO 55000 etc.
Additional Information
* A key role within the Maintenance Engineering team influencing strategy and supporting continuous improvement of Maintenance activities
