Graduate Surveyor – Fire Safety

Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Graduate Surveyor – Fire Safety on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Leicester.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Surveyor – Fire Safety to work within the Assets and Development Directorate and we really want to hear from you if;
You have a technical qualification to degree level or equivalent;
You are customer focused with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships;
You have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
You have an ability to analyse complex data and information;
You have comprehensive knowledge of databases.
On a day to day basis, the successful candidate will work closely with the Fire Safety Manager assisting with the delivery of the fire safety works across the organisation. You will be involved with building, maintaining and improving the company asset information database, ensuring all administration processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will review consultant and contractor performance and assist with the procurement of fire safety works contracts across the company.
The successful candidate will ensure that they keep up to date with new developments, legislation and regulatory changes and ideally will have experience in professional practice.
