Job Title: Business Process Manager - Utilities

Location: Staveley, near Chesterfield

Salary: £20.40 per hour

Contract: Part Time, 6 Month FTC - 22.5 hours per week, 3 days a week.

The company is a leading supplier delivering clean and efficient LPG and energy solutions across England, Scotland and Wales. They offer a range of energy products and service solutions including bulk gas, gas bottles, aerosol propellant and biomass.

The company is currently looking for a Business Process Manager to join their team in Staveley, just outside of Chesterfield.

You will ensure the business practices used day to day and their underlying processes are clearly understood, managed and maintained. This person will then employ their skills and knowledge to help drive out areas for improvement. You will work alongside the Continuous Improvement Manager to help identify where there is scope to improve a process and drive those improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the business custodian for the mechanics of how we operate, including how these should be put together and enacted effectively.
  • Work with and support the business process functional leads to help them create and develop detailed processes in their areas.
  • Ensure that each process has clear and robust measures associated so that evaluation and effectiveness can be tracked and monitored.
  • The creation and ongoing management and maintenance of a robust and user-friendly process inventory.
  • Develop and engage the organisation in the value and importance of good process mapping, and support the development of establishing process owners in each business function to help embed this within the organisation.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to challenge "the norm" to all levels.

About your Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Significant practical experience in writing and developing business processes and disseminating these to teams.
  • High level of education.
  • Proven track record in utilising process mapping tools.
  • Proven track record in managing an organisations process inventory.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Work with staff across all levels.
