Transport Planner - Somerset - GBP27k
My client is looking to recruit a Transport Planner for their busy office near Bridgwater, Somerset. The ideal person will either have been a transport planner or will have planner / planning experience.
The Role:
As the general Transport Planner you will be responsible for the efficient movements throughout this 24/7 operation.
Your role will be to route the Companies own fleet of vehicles around the UK. You will be liaising with Customers and Drivers as necessary - It is essential that all vehicles are used to maximum capacity.
You will be required to manage Drivers from start to end. All records must be kept up to date and be accurate
Key skills:
- Planning experience, ideally transport however not essential.
- Manager CPC would be beneficial though not essential
- Excellent Geographical knowledge
- Strong IT and communications skills required
The Package:
GBP27000
4 on 4 off shift pattern
28 days holiday
