Cleaning Manager - Healthcare Cleaning
McDiarmid Whitmore Ltd are currently working on behalf of a leading facilities management contractor seeking to appoint a Cleaning Manager for their busy healthcare cleaning division. The role is based at a single site near Coventry with the primary focus of delivering excellent cleaning services in a hospital environment.
As Cleaning Manager your role will be to manage the service to meet and exceed targets on all performance aspects of the contract and to be responsible for the day to day liaison of the service with the Client.
The role is to oversee a team of working supervisors within a tower and be the key contact for Matron's and Trust departmental heads. The role does not have any budgetary responsibility but will need to control labour resource.
You will complete audits for your assigned areas along with the compliance team and be responsible for ensuring rectifications are complete and associated paperwork completed.
Essential skills for this role include:
• Experience of managing and motivating teams
• A sound knowledge of delivering cleaning services in high pressured environments
• An eye for detail and experience of maintaining quality standards and conducting audits
• The ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders including the Client and senior management
• Sound knowledge of health and safety compliance
• Experience working with Trade Unions
This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading facilities contractors which offers excellent opportunities for career progression. This is a 7 day a week contract and you would be expected to cover weekends on a rotation basis
