FUNCTIONAL TEST TECHNICIAN

GBP9.00 - GBP12.00 (Dependant on experience)
ANDOVER/ BASSINGSTOKE/SALISBURY
My client are a specialist Electronics manufacturing firm based in Andover, they specialise in electronic/ electrical manufacturing services, this well established company has had a dramatic increase in production at the start of 2017 and they are now looking for an experienced Functional Test Technician to join their electronics department.

THE ROLE OF FUNCTIONAL TEST TECHNICIAN
- Reworking if required
- Functional test of new and exisitng products according to customer specifications and requirements
- Yield measuremanents, recording and analysis
- Moniter and identify failure modes and feedback possible solutions to CIL production supervisor, management and/or engineering
- Investigation into customer returns
THE RIGHT FUNCTIONAL TEST TECHNICIAN
- At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in PCB Test.
- Knowledge of electronic components
- Hand soldering and use of fine tools and microscopes
- Working to a high standard whilst maintaining production target
- Computer literate
