Salary in the region of £22,000 per annum for hours worked Monday to Friday; occasional weekend work paid at an additional hourly rate

Our client is the largest independent provider of refurbished fitness equipment including all major Worldwide brands for whom they store, relocate, deliver and install across the UK.
They have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. They can offer a challenging role based at their purpose built premises in rural Norfolk. You will be responsible for supervising the smooth running of the warehouse and its staff.

Duties include:

• Supervise all aspects of the warehouse operation
• To be responsible for warehouse staff training requirements including carrying out employee appraisals under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager
• To ensure that all lifting equipment is regularly maintained in accordance with company policy & statutory regulation; reporting faults directly to the Warehouse Manager
• To supervise and organise Goods in / Goods out on a daily basis within company guidelines
• Manage and maintain warehouse plan under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager
• Supervise and assist in the loading & unloading of company and 3rd party vehicles safely
• Supervise regular stock checks and update computerised warehouse management system
• To ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner and kept in accordance with company policy
• To report stock problems directly to the Warehouse & Workshop Manager
• Ensuring warehouse and yard is kept clean and tidy and a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Will be a motivated self-starter, have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with positivity and flexibility being essential
• Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence with a minimum of 12 months experience
• 7.5 Ton driving licence is an advantage
• Sound working knowledge of a warehouse environment, ideally in a Supervisory /Team Leader capacity desired
• Computer literate
• Excellent written and spoken English
