Anglia Ruskin is one of the largest universities in the East of England.
We area major force in Higher Education and are gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. Our campuses in Chelmsford, Cambridge and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment and we have ambitious plans for the future. 

During the next year a number of vacancies will exist on the Board of Governors which is responsible for the strategic direction of our University and the governance oversight of our activities. Expressions of interest are now invited to join the Board as a non-executive member.

We would particularly welcome expressions of interest from minority ethnic and female candidates to enhance the Board's diversity and overall gender balance and to be representative of the communities we serve.

Board members need to have the senior level experience, skills and time available to contribute effectively and we are particularly interested in hearing from those with a background in:
• Law
• Marketing
• Service industries
• Higher Education
• IT

Appointments are for an initial period of three years and are unremunerated although expenses are paid. A time commitment of at least eight days per year is required.
