Priority Appointments currently have an excellent opportunity to join our client in Aldershot on a permanent basis. You would join the business as a Specialist Handler/Trainee HGV Driver in a fantastic position where you would be working within a small team with the scope to learn all aspects of the company's policies and a chance to learn and progress within the business.
Job Role:
Working closely with drivers and assisting with deliveries to client sites forming a 2 man team
This role requires a professional outlook to work with a flexible attitude to adhere to client requirements.
You will be required to travel within the UK and Europe ensuring successful service delivery to a clients both corporate and small/medium entities
Standard working week approx. 45 hours, however, you will be required to work a flexible shift pattern which includes early, late and nights
Weekend work is available at an overtime rate
Full training provided with the opportunity to train for a Class 1 LGV licence
Preferred Skills:
Excellent customer service
Ability to lift heavy machinery
Flexible and adaptable work ethic
Basic administration skills
Willing to work unsociable hours
Benefits:

LGV training and test paid for by the company
Starting salary of GBP20,000
20 days holiday + 8 Bank holidays (rises over time)
