Customer Service AssistantJob DescriptionThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are acting as an employment agency.We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to work for our Peterborough based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining sales orders received online and over the telephone.Key Responsibilities:
* Process orders received via telephone/fax/email and deal with incoming calls* Take responsibility for maintaining product knowledge across all brands of the business* Build customer relationships* Recognise and deal with any customer queries, requests and problems promptly and escalate any non resolution to customer service manager* Assist with outbound sales campaigns if required* Maintain internal databases* Support warehouse with order queries*
Person SpecificationsDesired skills and attributes for the successful candidate:
* Proven ability to work unsupervised* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Flexible in approach* Competent with Microsoft office programmes* Ability to work as part of a team.
