Brewster Pratap are delighted to be recruiting a senior audit & accounts manager / Partners Designate for a leading firm Chartered Accountants, who provide audit and accountancy services for a wide range of clients. With offices in central Harrogate there is ample opportunity for personal development in this fast growing organisation.
Reporting to the Partner, qualified to ACA/ACCA level, and ideally with five years post qualification practice experience, ambitious, self motivated and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a mixed portfolio of clients
* Develop and maintain effective client relationships, including attending client meetings
* Leading a team in the preparation of financial statements for sole trader, partnerships, charities and limited companies
* Review and complete client audits for sign off by Partner
* Organise the flow of work within the team, allocating assignments as necessary taking into consideration resourcing requirements
* Review work undertaken by other staff
* Monitor and report on the teams performance
* Ensure that work is delivered within budget and time requirements
* Provide assistance in the development of staff, including their supervision and training
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
* ACA/ACCA qualified
* Work under pressure
* Work in fast paced environment
* Liase with staff, client and partners, therefore good people/communication skills
* Technically proficient
* Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Accounts Production Software
* Experience of Owner Managed Businesses with varying turnovers.
* Adaptable to changing circumstances and tight deadlines
* Patient with junior members of staff
