Responsible for the safe execution of projects from construction phase mobilisation to hand back, in accordance with company policies, procedures, and Network Rail Standards.

Responsible for the timely and commercially vantagious delivery of assigned project.

Health and safety leadership to the assigned operational delivery site team.

Ensure that site management team rigouroulsy adher to Network Rail's Life Saving Rules.

Compliance with all relevant Health, safety and environmental legislation and NR Standards.

Promote and implement sustainable business objectives.

Achieve gross site margin target on allocated scheme as directed by the Contracts Manager.

Compliance with all relevant NR Standards, AGC Procedures and HSE guidance.

Ensure sufficient and competent resource is in place for the delivery of assigned project and ensure that the project objectives are communicated to your site team.

Develop and maintain a construction programme and ensure works are communicated and delivered against the contract programme milestones.

Identify and manage/control any associated programme risks and
communicate this to the Contracts Manager and commercial team.

Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the companies reputation to help enable repeat business.

Maintain technical knowledge and status in line with post.

Management of project from contract award to the end of defect liability period.

Produce the CVR and project reporting process is adhered to and achieve minimum Gross Site Margin targets.

Ensure the supervision of project staff and sub-contractors in-line with Construction Phase Plan documentation, specification and project programme.

Ensure that risk assessments completed for Work Package Plans are
robust and risks identified within the Work Package Plans and communicated to the work force.

Ensure that only competent resources are utilised on the project.

Identify any hazards associated with the construction methodology and supplement suitable and effective control measures.

Responsible for writing and retaining compliance of the construction phase SQE Plans on site.

Ensure that the hierarchy of controls for managing the Safe System of Works on the Railway is in place in accordance with NR/L2/OHS/019 or NR/L2/OHS/133and that NO Lookout or Site Warden protected working is
undertaken without the prior permission of the Rail Director.

Responsible for the production of the core documentation as per the RACI below.

Monitor site working hours in line with the Rail Working Hours Policy and AGCL policies and procedures.

Compliance with the Construction (Design) Management Regulations 2015 and the Railway and other Guides.

Transport Systems Regulations 2006

Act as engineering mentor for junior engineering staff
