About the Job
Due to growth, a new position has arisen for a lab support assistant to join a medium sized, diverse team based at a pharmaceutical company. This is lab support work in a biological research lab and activities will consist of making up media, buffers, solutions, calibrating equipment, maintaining stocks, general laboratory maintenance and other activities to ensure smooth running of the laboratory.
About You
This role would suit a communicative team player without a scientific degree that have some existing lab experience they are looking to build on, OR for someone with a science degree (Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or similar) that is looking for a long term role in the lab in a cross functional, general lab support role.
To succeed in this job, you should demonstrate the following qualities/attributes:
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work flexibly with minimal direct supervision
- Proven ability to take on new activities in an efficient manner
- A strong team player
- Good planning and organisational skills
