Test & Inspection Technician
FINTEC recruit is seeking Test and Inspection Technicians and Engineer for our Electronics manufacturing client based in Rotherham. This is a permanent position with a salary ranging from GBP16-25k for entry level to skilled level, salary is depending on qualifications and experience. Positions available at various levels.
Test and Inspection Role overview:
Your time will be split between the service, repair and calibration of existing assembled products, the test & inspection of new PCBs. You will be working as part of a small engineering team.
Requirements:
* Ability to use electronic test equipment, use hand tools and carry out rework of printed circuit boards.
* Knowledge of bench test equipment eg oscilloscopes, Dvm, signal generators, PSUs etc.
* Using MS software packages and mechanical gauges to record and maintain accurate test results.
* Experience of processes involved in the production of mixed technology electronic assemblies in an ISO9001 quality controlled environment
* Identification of process defects per IPC610 standards
* Basic knowledge of compressed air systems, and safe working practices.
* HNC / HND Electronic Engineering.
