Our Client, a global manufacturing company is looking for a Principal Project Engineer to join their UK Project Engineering team based in Loughborough.
As a senior member of the team you will based at the Loughborough manufacturing facility and lead projects both onsite at Loughborough but also at other UK company sites as appropriate and support teams in Europe. Therefore some UK and International travel will be required in this role.
You will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams on major engineering projects involved in the manufacturing of liquids, tablets, creams and aerosols.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
Creating and leading project teams
Project reporting and communication at Senior levels
Capital project definition
Project risk management
Equipment specification (URS) and Vendor selection
Design Review (DQ) process
Installation/Commissioning
Equipment validation (IQ/OQ)
Equipment acceptance testing (FAT/SAT)
Handover and post - completion audit
In order to lead these cross-functional project teams in complex projects ideally you will have a Degree in an Engineering Discipline with proven leadership of high value/complex Process Engineering Capital projects within a Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology GMP environment.
A Professional Project Management Qualification (APMG) and Six Sigma training would be an advantage but not essential.
