Sheet Metal Worker
We recruit for one of the UK's largest aerospace fabricators. Due to new projects and continuous growth, we are looking for a number of permenant sheet metal workers to continue their career in this busy but structured environment.
Job Role
*
Manufacturing aircraft parts for Airbus, Rolls Royce etc, using shrinking/stretching/forming and rubber press techniques
* To produce sheet metal details either by hand or using machines, to have the ability to follow diagrams and written instructions.
* To undertake sheet metal assembly work.
* To have skills to use sheet metal working equipment, i.e. guillotine, fly press, rollers, shrinkers/stretchers, rubber presses and drills.
* To have an understanding of basic welding principles.
* To have the skills to self-inspect any operation carried out.
Essential - Must have aerospace experience.
